Despite our best efforts as your conveyancer, there are matters that go beyond the extent of our enquiries and professional opinion. Therefore, there are a range of risks that you are still exposed to during and after the conveyancing process that may cause you loss or affect your ownership.

Protecting your ownership in your home is just as important as protecting your home and contents from physical loss and damage.

You can do this by taking out a title insurance policy. It is likely that you have never heard of title insurance before as it has not been available to Australians until recently. Title insurance is a new form of protection available for purchasers of residential property.

A Title Insurance Policy protects your ownership and use of the property by guarding against certain unknowns and hidden risks that may cause you loss or affect your ownership.

Whilst purchasers have always been able to insure their home and contents from physical loss or damage, they have been unable, until recently, to protect their ownership in their home in the same way, which is just as, if not more important.

Our responsibility as your representative is to manage the risks that you are exposed to in the conveyancing transaction.

It is our view that our professional opinion and service, combined with a title insurance policy, provides you with the most effective strategy for managing your exposure to potential risks and therefore the best protection during the conveyancing process and for the term of your ownership.

For a one time premium from as little as $332 paid at the time of settlement, you obtain no-fault protection for as long as you own your home.
